Mings - no longer in business, they were the premier name in Hawaiian jewelry. Featuring tropicClick for selectional flowers, tikis, warriors and other representations of Hawaii, they were available in silver, ivory, and the silver-ivory combinations. Ming's was best know for the secret process for tinting the ivory. Collectors seek them out with a vengeance and they have become quite pricey. As much as we love Ming's, we lust for the rare find carved by JoClick for selectionhn Roberts. This large Mauna Loa necklace is considered to be his signature piece. His jewelry was not tinted. As a one man operation in Honolulu in the 40s and 50s his production was limited and thus a small number of pieces are available for purchase.
